  2. Trick-or-Treating in Bloomingdale

    Enjoy A Safe and Happy Halloween

    Provided that general safety precautions are followed, "Trick-or-Treating" in Bloomingdale will be on Monday, October 31, 2022, between 3 PM and 7 PM.

     A responsible adult or teen should accompany each group. 

    • Walk! Do not run while going trick-or-treating. 
    • If unaccompanied, parents should know exactly what route their children are taking & which friends your children will be with. 
    • Never enter a stranger's house - even if invited. 

     Don’t eat any treats until parents examine them at home. 

    • Check the wrapper of commercial treats for signs of tampering. Throw away anything unwrapped. Notify the police if harmful items are found.
    • Do not leave your home unattended on Halloween night, if possible. 
    • Leave your porch or driveway light on, so children will know it's okay to visit your home. 
    • Keep your pets inside your house on Halloween night

     Extra police officers in marked and unmarked cars will patrol the Village to ensure that children are safe and vandalism is minimized.
