Does the Village collect branches?

The branch collection service is performed under the direction of the Village Forestry Division. This free service is only available to single family detached residences and is offered three times a year, in the spring, summer and fall. In the event of severe storms, the Village will provide storm damage collection of woody branches ½ inch to 6 inches in diameter. Please contact the Forestry Division at 630-671-5800 within 72 hours of storm for branch collection.

Branches under ½ inch in diameter, leaves, and vines are not included in the Village’s Branch Collection program, but may be placed in biodegradable bags or cans with a yard waste tag attached for collection by SBC Republic Services. Yard waste collection commences on April 1st and continues through November 30th.

Please contact  SBC Customer Service with any collection related questions by phone 312-522-1115 or email @ Residential@sbcwastesolutions.com.
