Post Pandemic Utility Bills

Village of Bloomingdale 1833

The Illinois economy is now fully re-opened.  The coronavirus pandemic has declined, the economy is quickly improving and opportunities are available to resume our pre-pandemic activities.  Back in March 2020 the Village Board recognized the hardships that the pandemic was going to have on residents and businesses and suspended all utility account late fees and service disconnections.  Now with the economy open once again, the Village will be returning to its practices in the collection of utility bills.  Beginning in September the Village will once again be charging late fees and discontinuing service for non-payment.

If you were particularly impacted by the pandemic and continue to need assistance with paying your utility bill, please call us at 630/671-5650 to discuss your account.  The Village is interested in assisting you while both of us transition back to an open economy and regular activities
