During the month of October the Bloomingdale VFW Post 7539, along with community partners and coordinating with the Jesse Brown VA Hospital Homeless Program, is conducting a winter coat drive to provide 300 winter coats to Veterans in need. Coats can be new or gently used but clean. 

All sizes of men’s and women’s coats are needed.

Other items needed include new winter gloves, scarves and knit winter caps.

Simply drop off your donation between October 1-31 to a collection site listed below.  The VFW will deliver to Jesse Brown Medical Center for distribution to our Veterans in need.

· Public Library @ 101 Fairfield Way

· Fire District 1@ 179 S Bloomingdale Rd

· Park District @ 172 S. Circle Ave.
