The market boasts an abundant supply of fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, honey, grass fed, free range, hormone free beef and lamb, and cage free eggs. Delicious baked goods, jams, ice cream and beverages. Various entertainment and/or activities for both kids including crafts, face painting, balloon animals and music.
Any Vendor interested in participating in the Market should review the Market Rules & Regulations and submit the Market Application (posted below). Please contact Lauren Moore, Market Manager at 630-671-5831 with any questions regarding availability and application process.
Performing at the Old Town Bloomingdale Farmers' Market is a great way for students to practice in front of an audience, teachers to advertise their service, and for all to promote their career aspirations. Local performers are invited to apply for one or more market days to showcase their talent! The market welcomes music and other entertainment that is upbeat, family-friendly and skillfully presented.
Priority assignments will be given to performers with a Bloomingdale connection. The Market will promote entertainers weekly on the Market and Village Facebook pages (2000+ followers) and in the Village Enews (2,000 subscribers), ongoing on the Village website and Bloomingdale TV (Comcast & AT&T UVerse subscribers), and also bi-monthly in the Village Almanac newsletter (delivered to 10,100 residences/businesses).
The market pays a modest stipend to entertainers (based on performance complexity), and performers are welcome to set out a tip jar to supplement their income, or to raise money for a cause.
