Old Town Bloomingdale Farmers' Market
The Old Town Bloomingdale (OTB) Farmers' Market operates every Thursday June 15 through September 28, 2017, 3 PM to 7 PM in the Tiffany Point west parking lot (NW corner of 3rd St. and Schick Rd).
The market boasts an abundant supply of fresh locally grown and raised fruits and vegetables, and honey, grass fed and free range eggs,meats and poultry. Delicious baked goods, jams, and beverages. Various entertainment and/or activities for both kids and kids at heart will be provided to enhance the market going experience.Any Vendor interested in participating in the Market should review the Market Rules & Regulations and submit the Market Application (posted below). New Sound Stage – Performers Wanted
St..Paul Evangelical Church has generously offered to sponsor a Sound Stage at the Old Town Bloomingdale Farmers’ Market. The sound stage will consist of a flatbed trailer, sound equipment and sound technician to assist the market performers. Performing at the Old Town Bloomingdale Farmers' Market is a great way for students to practice in front of an audience, teachers to advertise their service, and for all to promote their career aspirations. Local performers are invited to apply for one or more market days to showcase their talent! The market welcomes music and other entertainment that is upbeat, family-friendly and skillfully presented.
Priority assignments will be given to performers with a Bloomingdale connection. The Market will promote entertainers weekly on the Market and Village Facebook pages (2000+ followers) and in the Village Enews (2,000 subscribers), ongoing on the Village website and Bloomingdale TV (Comcast & AT&T UVerse subscribers), and also bi-monthly in the Village Almanac newsletter (delivered to 10,100 residences/businesses).
The market pays a modest stipend to entertainers (based on performance complexity), and performers are welcome to set out a tip jar to supplement their income, or to raise money for a cause.
