DuPage Senior Citizens Council

The DuPage Senior Citizen's Council (DSCC) is a not-for-profit, community based, volunteer driven agency, devoted to enriching senior life. Through the efforts of dedicated volunteers, a variety of programs are offered to help seniors live safely in their own homes and communities, and provide them the opportunity to maintain their physical and mental health.

Services Offered
As a financial contributing municipality, Bloomingdale seniors are entitled to the following services provided by the council:
  • Home Maintenance Program - The Home Maintenance program is available to DuPage County residents, age 60 and over. The program is broken down into 4 thriving programs:
    • Chore Days Program
    • Contractor Referral Program
    • Minor Home Repair Program
    • Senior Home Inspection Program
  • Senior Nutrition Program - This is a volunteer driven program that provides nutritious meals to seniors in DuPage County. The program has 3 parts:
    • Community Dining Program
    • Home Delivered Meals Program
    • Restaurant Program
